  • I used to teach 1st year Property at a law school. I was emphatically making the point, all the while gesturing, that, "9 inches is not enough!" My point was that a 9 inch encroachment is not enough to put a landowner on notice that squatter is trespassing on his land.

  • You're missing the point. All the problems California has and all Carly has to offer is catty comments about OTHER REPUBLICANS and her opponent. It's the unscripted moments that are the true measure of a person.

  • It's only discrimination when the decision is arbitrary. Passengers who need two seats shd pay for two seats. I shdn't have to share mine.

  • Oh, but I do get it. I love my 4 kids and the many other foster kids we've taken to restaurants or on cross-country flights.

  • Yes, you CAN expect a 2 year old to behave on a plane, but it requires an adult who has thought it through. I know. I've done it. Following our eight hour flight from Honolulu to Dallas, the man next to me complimented me on the behavior of our 2 year old.

  • Life in a civilized community requires responsibility to each other sometimes, i.e. when death or serious injury is a likelihood.
